Everyone Deserves a Chance to Learn and Play Sports – at PlayBall Academy we make an effort to provide quality instruction for those in need and work with non-profit organizations to help spread their love of sports.
While PlayBall Academy provides camps and clinics in baseball, softball, basketball & many other sports, we’ve gone to another level and work with several non-profit companies and other organizations that bring sports to athletes who cannot pay for instruction or for individuals with physical or mental disabilities. We’ve received $80,000.00 plus in grants and fundraising in 2021 which has ensured that every athlete gets a chance to play ball, no matter their ability level or financial limitations.
Our goal is to:
- Help student athletes become better student athletes
- Offer multiple pathways for an underserved population
- Create exciting opportunity for communities to collaborate and provide superior instruction
- Offer opportunities for student-athletes to learn skills outside of the classroom that will help them gain more confidence for when they are in their classroom.
- Opportunity to pursue athletic pathways outside of school that would normally not be prevalent in their communities unless families can afford it.
- Provide opportunities for the most talented players that will not have to spend money to keep competing is also a priority
