PlayBall Academy provides athletic training and development in baseball, softball, basketball, football, bocce ball & other sports through high-energy drills, competitions, and tournaments in your very own neighborhood!
What separates us from other programs is the various clinics we run that are designed specifically for teaching individual positions for each sport.
We have the best camper-to-coach ratio with current and former college and professional coaches and players who specialize in athletic training and develop skills, all while having fun!

Owner & Head Coach
Coach Doug Remer
A lifelong athlete, Doug has the extra knowledge of psychology (BS) and special education (MS) to help players achieve their ultimate goal, whatever that may be. From t-ball to the professional level, Coach Remer is behind you 100 %.
Doug and his staff run:
- T-Ball MCLL (Montgomery County Little League)
- RemerBall for TPSS (Takoma Park-Silver Spring)
- League of Dreams Events as the “A” Team for Mike Bordick and Frank Kolarek
Career Highlights:
- 2020 Albert Einstein HS Hall of Fame Inductee-Athletic Achievement Award.
- 2020 World Series Ring Recipient – over 10 years of service for the Washington Nationals.
- 10 years of college coaching.
- 20 years of youth, HS and special needs coaching.
- 80 + players signed professionally and 100s collegiately.
